Testosterone and Fasciculations - Success!

Footloose

Recently had my testosterone tested. Results came back low normal. Anyhow, my doctor went ahead and put me on Androgel. Within days my fasciculations went from distracting to hardly noticeable. It has remained that way the entire time I've been on the Test. Energy level is way up too. The net is that my fascics are better than they've been in 10 years.

How long have you been on this therapy? Please do keep us guys up to date on how this works, if it sustains, etc.

I've been tempted to try this after reading the content on . I need to get tested first...

I am on DHEA. There is much literature the confirms that male hormones tends to more than help BCFS/BFS. Of course this gives validity to the autoimmune connection that is suspected in BCFS/BFS. My testosterone level is normal but DHEA is very low!

well guys. I dont want to scare anyone or offend anyone, but before you start looking for homone treatment for BFS, you should know a thing or two about it.

Testosterone is the male sexual hormones produced in the Leydig intersticial cells of the testis, and in a minimun percentage, in the reticular part of the adrenal cortex.

Also, testosterone is knowt to increase body hair distribution, promote baldness and acne.

Hope this helps....

cheers

I did not post as an advocate of hormonal (Testosterone) therapy. Rather, I posted as a way to communicate an observation I had about my own experience. That's all.
