Testing Smooth Muscle Antibodies?

Has anyone been tested for Smooth muscle antibodies??
Any positive results....?

I wonder if there is a corralation between BFS and SMA

Hi,
Anti-smooth muscle antibodies are markers for liver disease, specifically hepatitis and cirrhosis. If you are positive, you should have your doctor work this up.

Its looking highly likely that ive got autoimmune hepatitis/ liver disease ive tested positive for a few inc this anti smooth muscle , high ferratin, Bilirubin, low Alpha1 antitrypsin Low Igm, to name a few.Hepatologist referral beckons
