Sounds like a classic case of BfS! when my twithces started it was in my calfs, I didn;t think much of it ,then I read an article about ALS, and sure enough I started twitching everywhere!! I believe stress makes it so much worse! Just stay here this site is great!! :D)

Akeurogh: Anybody else feeling symptoms like this?

Ummm, yep, like all of us here! ;)

Welcome to the board. I began twitching in a very similar way to yourself, during severe exam stress. I googled, freaked and the twitches started all over my body.
You may also find that you have been so focused on the exam that you have been eating badly, staying up late revising and drinking way too much coffee/coke/redbull to keep you going. I found all these things made my twitching far worse and also trying to "reassure myself  " by googaling my symptoms just made me more anxiouse.
You may find as I have that your twitches decrease along with your anxiety about them. Stay on the board if you need support, it can be a real lifeline!

Akeurough,

Hello. You'll realize in due time that all you have is BFS and nothing more. You'll also look back at the amount of anxiety you experienced during this ordeal and understand that, like all of us, you devoted way too much time worrying about a benign condition that you'll get used to anyway and move on. The problem is that it takes time. Unfortunately there are no miracle cures or shorts cuts to resolving this problem so the best advice I can offer you is stay with this site during this healing period because its the best source for understanding BFS and the people on it know exactly what you're going though. Best of luck and remember that you're not alone.

Hi

My Bfs started in my thumb too, classic case of BFS.
My post to you would read the same as Bill,s. Take his advice and stay on board! Anxiety plays a big part in this condition.

Good luck

Chris
