Tingling, pins and needles, numbness, and all of those symptoms are symptoms of sensory nerves. ALS however, does not affect sensory nerves just motor nerves. So, none of those semsations are indicators of ALS at all.
BFS does cause tingling sensations ,etc. as well as pain, cramping, and a myriad of other different symptoms.
Weakness in ALS is very profound. If you had it you would definitely know it. You;de have touble walking, getting out of a chair, raising your fork to your mouth to feed yourself ... REAL clinical weakness.
Body wide witching points to a benign condition like BFS. ALS twitching is usually localized to one area and shows up after symptoms of weakness and wasting/atrophy.
From the looks of it, it sounds as if you have BFS just the same as the rest of the 2,000+ members of this forum and the countless people who read it.
Don't be embarassed, we're just one big happy family of worry warts here to encourage each other ...
