Hi.
Hmmm.
Generally, you shouldn't have symptoms of alcohol withdrawl unless your body is physically addicted, but it is possible to experience delirium tremens after a heavy binge. It usually involves more than just tremors, though...which btw is a visible, rhythmic shaking of an entire limb, not just a twitching of a single muscle with resultant jerking of a finger. Think about how it feels when you drink too much coffee vs. when your eyelid twitches. Big difference. Alcohol withdrawl would also involve nausea, agitation, delirium, restlessness, sweating, palpitations, and possibly even seizures.
If you drink excessively, it would be a good idea to see a doctor about some sort of treatment program. This will help overcome the withdrawl symptoms and make them more tolerable.
Hope this helps,
Blessings,
Sue
