Swedish Descent and BFS

Hi All, I notice there are quite a few of us on here from Sweden or Northern Europe. I am of Swedish descent. Anyone think there may be a correlation? I have a relative in Sweden who is a neurologist. I am going to write him to hear his thoughts on BFS and any relation to **s. I'll let you know what he says.

I'm a tan, dark hair, black eyed hispanic (Mexican origin) from Texas! :) But I'd still love to hear what your relative thinks about BFS, and how common he thinks it really is.

My mom is Swedish. But, she doesn't have BFS, only me (being 1/2 Swedish). Maybe it is more about the height correlation with BFS, since Swedes are tall people!

My Swedish Neurologist cousin said that fasiculations are very common, a big thumper kind is less worrisome than others, a normal EMG is very reassuring, but to get a full check up by a neurologist, "but don't worry too much about it."

Many ages ago there was a thread similar to this, and I'm sure there were probably more I missed. The one I remember theorized that most twitchers were of European descent. But there have also been ones that mentioned we seem to be really intelligent, and ones that theorized we were mostly good looking. lol
