I'm not sure it's palatal myoclonus, but it is benign. Palatal myclonus is in the roof of the mouth, and this is clicking in the throat. Throat clicking can be caused by jaw tension, protruding cartilage, and other things, none of which are serious, and all of which are easily treatable (though they usually don't need any treatment).
I found that my throat clicking decreased when I stopped worrying about it. This could mean it was anxiety-related (jaw tension is a common anxiety symptom), or that it was related to something else that resolved. Yours will too.
