Suspicious of BFS: March Virus?

I've not been formally diagnosed with BFS - though I've got all the tell-tale signs. Back in March, I had an unnusual virus of some sort and ever since...episodes of twitching, especially when I'm tired and/or stressed. I wake up in the middle of the night anxious for no apparent reason with twitiching in my arms, back, calves, etc...

Though it seems I developed this in conjunction with a weird virus, I'm wondering if there might be any connection to corticosteroids - in part because I think I noticed some twitching, though not nearly as constant and severe, prior to the virus. I have a very minor case of psoriasis for which I take a fairly strong corticosteroid called clobestal propitionate. Apparently some side-effects associated with this drug mirror some symptoms of BFS. Any one out there take the drug and think they have BFS?

Dear kurt,

I too had a weird viral infection in my head and was on steriods for three weeks. As soon as I stopped the medications my twitching began. No joke. My neuro had mentioned the steriods to me and/or the viral infection as being the initial cause. He said there could also be a thousand other things. Noone really know how or why. It's frustrating I know.
