sunlight is healthy

Hello everyone. :)
I have been doing some research on the health benefits of sunlight (full spectrum UV) striking the skin and eyes in order to regulate many chemical body functions necessary for optimum physical and mental health. Most people know about vitamin D, but apparently there are other necessary chemicals produced by sunlight on the skin and eyes. Sunlight is said to alleviate depression and anxiety as well. (I personally always feel relaxed and happier after a nice sunbath). Apparently we should expose our skin and eyes to the sun with no sunblock, clothing, glasses, contact lenses, or glass to block the full spectrum UV from nurturing us as nature intended. The book I read said that even stuff that is not formulated to block UV light still blocks some of it and interferes with the full spectrum hitting us. Of course, too much sun is bad, but regular, moderate exposure is said to be good (about an hour a day). However, they say sunbathing is always bad for people who do not eat healthy, because the body needs proper nutrition in order that we do not become wrinkly, walking cancer factories. Also, the darker your skin and eye pigmentation, the more sun you need.
I have been wearing glasses/contacts since I was 13. I was just curious to see whether there is a connection between people who don't get enought full spectrum sun exposure and BFS. Maybe we can add this to the BFS survey.
