Strange Sensation in Foot/Ankle: Worried?

Unlike a lot of people on here I did not twitch that much in comparision, even when it was at its worst. Nowadays I twitch maybe a couple of times of day for a short period and then nothing for a long while. However I am/have been experiencing other nasty worrying symptoms, which at the moment concern my right foot/ankle.I have this strange sensation in my foot/ankle,which seems to be a combination of pain/tingling/trembling/vibrating etc and is with me all the time. My ankle also seems to be pretty weak, which is not helping my fears. It seems to get worse when I am either sitting or laying down. Also the fact that most of my symptoms including these foot/ankle problems have all been located in one leg,is making it seem more likely that its something nasty as surely something more benign would present itself in more than one specific location?I have experienced other problems in this right leg including buzzing when it first presented and then a sustained episode of terrible ache/pain in my calf and quad/thigh muscles, however this is not convincing me that nothing sinister is going on.What does everyone else think?

If things are localized, the upside is it may be a localized problem that would never become systemic like ALS. You could have a pinched nerve or some other injury that radiates. If something is bodywide, it rules out a lot of benign things. There are systemic benign things but I think there are more benign explainations for things that only impact one part of the body.

It may be a localized problem, however I am not convinced. Also this feeling I have been getting in my foot (mainly the heel) is progressing further up my foot and into my toes. From what I have found given the symptoms a) If it was localized is should NOT be progressively spreading and b) I have found nothing apart from *** which would explain this.BFS-ers are tending to get widespread symptoms, mainly concerning the twitching. Also most people are NOT experiencing symptoms in JUST the extremities which as we all know is the starting point for most *** sufferers.I am worried sick and am going to build this up until I see the neuro at which point I am expecting to hear confirmation of my biggest fear.
