Standing on Toes with Calves

I sometimes get an aching pain in my hip flexor area that I would rate as a 6 or 7. Ugh...it makes me cringe just thinking about it.

Blessings,
Sue

Today is not as bad, maybe the heavy doses of left over halloween candy is whats helping, there's nothing a fun size snickers bar can't cure!- Jen

Jenn- I'm going to go with at least a 7. As a matter of fact, I was just going to post about this. Am I going to be living on Ibuprofen the rest of my life or is this going to come in good cycles and bad? Noticed the twitching came back today -had been much better for the past two weeks. Really sore and shakey today. I think the hardest part for me is that I'm used to being so active. Granted, I still force myself to do all the things I normally do but it genuinely HURTS. I was sitting in the car today getting ready to go into the grocery store thinking, ughh- this is going to be painful to walk through the aisles pushing the carriage. Then I'm like "what am I, 100 years old!" For someone who's life is based on two jobs (massage and fitness instructor) which are physically demanding, this has been quite a wake up call to me for all those clients that come in with fibro, back pain, etc...guess it's good to be in someone else's shoes but to be honest, I'd be more than happy to step back into my old ones.

I would say the pain in my claf (which is almost constant) is about a 5. It feels as if it's going to cramp, more so than a cramp. What worries me is that I feel as if the skin is flabby when I walk. I have said this before. I am very thin and have lost tons of weight since my son was born 3 years ago. I have NO muscle tone, never did. I don't work out, never did. I just had an EMG done and he said BCFS. He is a neurologist who specializes in *** and I have to believe him. I find myself taking Tylenol and getting hot baths every night! I wonder too, will I be taking these nightly baths forever? I know a bath won't kill me....but I'd rather just go to bed without one! LOL. It does give me some relief though.

Anywhere from a 4 to a 7, depending on the day, and what other illnesses are flaring right then. Very hard to separate this from the arthritis, irritable bowel, etc. And yes, I am in a hot tub almost every night so i can sleep.

I dont really feel constant pain with my twitches ?? Is that a bad thing ? I will get random shooting pains sometime... and a cramp everynow and then which hurts. I mainly will just keep feeling the muscle pop.

Hi,
Just thought I'd add my two cents as well :)
No pain with twitches, just annoying.
Pain with muscle spasms or almost cramps varies from 3-6 depending on the day.
Some days no pains at all.
:D)

As I wrote a few days ago I have almost constant pain (I would say between 6 and 7) in my left calf. It feels more painful later in the day.My other limbs hurt sometimes, but I would guess that`s often a result of excessive self-testing...
