Hey,
I had a spinal tap, but I wish I hadn't. I demanded it at the time, because all of my other tests for MS were negative, yet I was convinced I had MS.
I had no idea at the time that bfs could have been causing all of my symptoms.
In hindsight, I wish I hadn't wasted my time, or my money.
And...to be honest...it isn't the most pleasant of procedures.
What would your neuro be looking for, exactly? A brain mri can rule out MS, and emg, **S.
To me, the spinal tap is overkill, but that's just my humble opinion.
Blessings,
Sue
