All my twitching and other symptoms started after a sore throat a month ago. A month ago I felt something on my tongue and went to look at it and was amazed to see a open sore in the middle of my tongue 1/8 by 1/4 in long(it went away after a week). It looked like a pice had just been cut out .I started looking around in there with a flash light and could see all of my throat was red with raised bumps on the back. Tested negative for strep. Went thru 3 bouts of different types of antibiotics which did nothing. Sometimes it feels ok and other times it clicks when I swallow or has a lump or even will feel dry or numb. I feel pains around my throat in my neck at times but nothing is swollen anywhere. I now see another sore opening up on the side of my throat and everything is as red as it was a month ago. Been to GP 3 times for it. Has anyone else had this. I see a neuro specialist on the 10th for the more tests into the twitching. Should I see a Ear Nose Throat Dr or is this throat thing something that comes with some cases of BFS. Please helpNote, I found this forum one week into my twitching and severe anxiety. After reading a million posts I took everyones advise on getting your anxiety under control. I went after the anxiety issue with gusto and with some occasional help from xanax and vicodan. I went from hundreds of twitches a hour to maybe a few hundred a day, Maybe a 80% reduction in twitches. Thank you everyone.George
