hi allI am having really bad day today with sore calf muscle, i was playing darts for 3 hours yesterday and it that involved me putting all my weight on my bad twitchy calf. Today its really sore and if i touch it, its even worse.admit idly i have not played darts for months since this started but i never had this pain the next day when i did in the past, is this something i should be worried about? Its just worrying when the calf that is sore is the one that twitches non-stopchris

Chris,Honestly, you should be worried about how to improve your darts skills, not about soreness. I guess almost everybody with bfs get that at some point, pretty common stuff.Have a Nice Day,Eduardo

Hi Chris,My neurologist told me that if I twitched only in my calves the answer would be a lower back problem. As I twitch all over it didn't help! I know that you only twitch in your calves so have you tried a chiropractor? I went to one and she's brilliant. She can't pinpoint any precise problems but she's trying to improve the general health of my nervous system. It definitely helps - might be psychological but who cares! I also feel as if I'm attempting to do something about it which makes me feel better. It's expensive at first because they like to see you twice a week. I'm up to once a week now and eventually once a month. £25 a month will be well worth it! The stuff she does with my neck makes a massive difference - I can go 10 seconds without a twitch which is brilliant for me! I know that this has been affecting you really badly so it's worth a try! They might be able to find a problem at the point where the leg nerves leave your spine. They loosen the bones so that the nerves are free. Mine is part of a chain called chiropractic UK. Jan

Hi Chris"One hundred and eighty!"... sorry, mate I couldn't help myself. I think that you put a surprising amount of weight through your front leg when you play darts so it would be totally expected to experience this kind of muscle pain afterwards. Maybe you should have had more beer to numb the pain and it might have improved your game too?!?! That's not a medical opinion by the way.All the bestSimon

cheers mate !! i love darts and have avoided playing it since all this started, and it is my front foot that is my bad foot and your right it does hold all the weight when i throw ! still sore 2 days later at the moment, hoping it goes soonchris
