Julia – The fact that you have a scheduled neurologist appointment is causing your mind to go crazy envisioning the possibilities and fearing the worst. I’m not an expert but I have done enough research on you know what (and wish I hadn’t) and I have never heard of a single case of bulbar and limb onset. Not one. I have never heard of trunk onset either, which would make you a first if that’s what it was, but it isn’t. You will be here on Nov. 28 posting that all went well with your appointment, and I'm going to say "I told you." 
Also, it's okay if your head is a little loose. It sometimes allows new ideas and insights to slip in.
