This has nothing to do with my situation but I came across it and thought I'd share it in case it was relevant to anyone new to the board. I found a text discussing the fact that certain antibiotics can cause twitching and buzzing. Search these terms to find the article and then click the link that says "CASE REPORTS" to find the info. There is a section on twitching if you scroll down the article. Here are the google terms:fluoroquinolonestoxic antibioticstwitchingbuzzingKrackersones

my twitching started after i took a penicilline-antibiotica called co-amoxi for almost two weeks. They contain amoxicillin and clavulan-acid. I dont know if they can cause twitching - dont find the Report you mention.

I am starting to think that all of my problems are a result of taking these antibiotics. About 6 months ago I took Levaquin for 15 days and Bactrim for 10 more to treat Prostititus and then about two weeks later I went back on Bactrim for 6 days to treat Bronchitus. I had some crazy stuff going on in my body after taking those antibiotics including difficulty breathing and shortness of breath. Also the bottom of my feet would ache for months (they still do) when I wake up in the morning and first get out of bed. Now, two months ago my eyelid starts to twitch (still does) and now I am a month into full body twitching. I think those antibiotics poisened my body and are the blame for this mess. I don't know how to flush my system from these dangerous antibiotics. I just hope over time this will fade away, these twitches are driving me crazy. Anyone else have a similar encounter with these antibiotics?
