Self-Hypnosis Tape Unsuccessful

I've been using Medical Hypnosis for several months and have had great results but it took over two months of everyday use (30-60 minutes a day) before I saw results. My anxiety is reduced by about 90% and my symptoms have been dramatically reduced.I started with a medical hypnosis CD for anxiety/stress relief and am now switching to one for BFS (basically a general hypnosis session for twitching). You can get decent CDs/MP3's for pretty cheap ($5-$25).Look for any CD by Steven Gurgevich or google "Medical Hypnosis for anxiety relief" ...etc

I'll just go with meditating thanks. I have a problem with the idea of someone else controlling me, err, umm, wow. You know what I mean. ;) ~*~Amy~*~

I'm going to start Hypnosis on Monday in hopes that it will help. I've tried acupuncture for a year and that didn't work along with supplements like magnesium and electrolyte replacement which help a little. Since finding this support site I am relieved that at least what I have is defined and that I'm not out of my mind although that's is a factor when your experiencing this condition. I also was diagnosed by my neurologist that I indeed have benign fasciculation. It's a vicious cycle that actually causes more anxiety knowing that it might happen at any time so I'm hopeful that Hypnosis will help.
