Seeking Understanding for Twitches

I hear a lot of people on this board talking about twtches but I feel like they don't match mine. I was was SOMEONE would understand my twitches. For the first couple of weeks I had constant buzzing and twitching in my arches and feet. They've slowed down signifigantly. The twitches in my calfs feel like someone lightly touches me once in one spot and then maybe a few minutes later another lite touch. It's not a constant twitch/vibration anyomre. And what worries me the most is I stopped (for the most part) getting multiple flutterry twtiches. I'll get one light poke in my back than in both elbows than in my temple. It always seems to affect the same exact muscle even though they are all over my body. Are these what you consider hotspots even if they only thump once. Is this more worrisome. Anyone else get these single finger poking sensations. I had two clean emgs but they were done really early....but after I had some twtching. I am only two months I and I'm petrified. I'm very sore all over my body, my excersice tolerence is bad yet the constant twtching and vibrations have seems to reduce themselves by 75%. Weird. ps. How many people with the constant achy calves?

Pet,

I had the flutters/buzzing twitches in the beginning. I dont get that buzzing so much anymore. Just because you do not have them anymore does not mean anything. Your twitches as you refer to as a light pokes can still be twitches, they are just not as strong. Some of my twitches are so light they feel like tiny tiny bugs on me but they are still twitches. Also do you see those light pokes, can you see the twitch on the skin?

I have alot of aches and pains and have them everyday since BFS and yes in the calves. My calves are tight alot now also. Hotspots do not have to be going 24-7, it just means that muscle keeps having them for days, weeks, months, you can have them constantly or you can have them every 20 minutes, once a day, etc. but they last there. My twitches are usually in the same spot, biceps, thighs, of course calves and feet.

Everything you just said is common to BFS....Jenn

yeah It'll just be a little pop....I can definately feel them. The ones in my calves feel like the little buggies but they are very light and last only a fleeting second. My arches that were 24/7 have beensilent for two days. Is that a good sign. The pops in my upper body "both elbows, both triceps, under ribs and lowe back" are more forceful....but they are still only single thumps. You get these? My dad said he has these too. Sometimes I think that if I didn't automatically tense up my muscle when I felt one that they would progress to a more repetive thump. By the way, anyone get the fine twtching on their nose. That would make me feel less alone. Thanks.

Pet,

That is how my calves feel like, pops, like grapepie. About the nose thing. I was just telling someone under the post please help me topic under yours about the nose thing, look that up. I get thumpers all the time on my upper body and legs, very normal. Having your twitches be silent is good, my calves were not bad at all but up until a month ago they have been. I have very fine twitches and did on my nose, I have these on upperbody and arms terribly, 24-7, feel like bugs..You are good..Jenn
