Seeking Stress Relief: ER Visit

There may already be a topic addressing this but I'm on my mobile which isn't the ideal medium for searching through the boards. Needless to say my hands are driving me crazy. I spent all day yesterday with my best friend in the ER. She has a life threatening disorder and I've had to travel three hours out of town to be with her until her operation. Stress level...100++++++! Anyways, I keep having these quick, hard twitches in my forearm and my hand just under my thumb and index finger. It looks like I have possessed mechanical fingers. I've had them in my shoulders before that jerked my whole arm but never the wacky hands. I'm really not worried, per se, I'm just looking for a little "been there, twitched like that" reassurance. Right now I just want to focus on my friend and getting her better and this garbage is trying to get the best of me!

I have had alot of twitches like that. It sucks to have a finger move on its own, but it is BFS normal and I am sure quite a few will chime in with the same thing...Sorry to hear about your friend, prayers sent....Randy

Thank you so much for your prayers. Being in a situation like this makes me realize how small a thing like BFS is in the grand scheme of life.

Hi Frances, sorry this one is bothering you so much, it is upsetting to see fingers move on their own, and I myself have had strong twitches in the forearm on occasion that will cause my thumb to jerk or twitch pretty hard...I have had these or felt these in the palm of my hand on occasion as well...I say occasionally because my arms, through all of this have never really been my active zones...just occasional hot spots....the rest of me...my feet..they are just insane most days  This will pass when your stress level calms back down a bit...I'm real sorry to hear about your friend and I will be sure to add her to my prayers.Take careRobynn :D)
