Seeking Medical Advice for Numbness

I've had that thigh numbness too (not completely numb but "not right" when you brush it- like you don't have full feeling there)...I don't remember it lasting very long!

Shannon,

If you are wanting to issolate the problem causing the numbness. See your PCP and have them take a look at your spine lumbar area. I have had numbness issues that come and go.
For me I know it it due to bulging disc in the lumbar area. Another cause of numbness in the spine is stinosis. A narrowing of the spine area were the nerve root passes. Usually an MRI will give a clear picture to the problem. L-4-5 in my spine is the cuplrit which aftects my right leg.

PS. I know I know....... I have left the site but couldn't resist wanting to give a little info that might guide Shannon to a solution to her question.

Bye

I strangeley get this in my front right thigh too, especialy when I lay on my back. You can still feel your thigh but it feels like a cold, decreased sesation feeling. It concerned me too but I think its just part of the crazy old symptoms of bfs!
