Seeking Help for Symptoms

For the last several months I have been having the following symptoms: Waxing and Waning bilateral arm ache (always bilateral and in the same place on both arms and shoulders), fatigue, tremors, ratcheting in my shoulders and arms (for instance when I shrug my shoulders they feel like they are not coming down smoothly), numbness in mouth, fasciculations, and parasthesias. I also occasionally have brain fog but that may be coming from something else. I am over 65 and retired with no specific stress. I have been to several neuro specialists and had Xrays, EMGs, MRIs, and all the blood work for likely culprits. All normal except the EMG for my hand had minor problems. ALS, MS and Parkinsons have been ruled out as well as rhumetoid arthritis, Sjogrens, etc. A lyme test also came back negative. I do have high cortisol levels which indicates some anxiety but not sure why. I asked one of my neuro docs about BFS and he said he didn't think so, but it is the only thing I have found that seems to have all my symptoms. Anyway, I would appreciate any insight.

Hi,probably you are one of the most senior fellows here (at least among those I know), and the only thing which I personally can say is that it is good to see that severe MNDs are excluded in your case. High cortisole indicates either really persistent anxiety or maybe a kind of adrenal disfuntion. Have you seen also endocrinologist to see if your adrenals work properly?
