Seeking Alternative Treatment for EMG/NCV Results

Hey everyone-I have an appointment today at 2:20 with a new neuro. My GP suggested that I go see her and talk to her about alternative treatments and other things that could be going on. I dont think that I have ALS but I want to take my EMG/NCV report to her and have her explain why my motor neurons are having "slowed responses distally" and some other things to get a clearer picture of anything else it could be. I will report back here later this evening with what she says and any new info I have. Talk to you guys soon!Sean

And if you go back after this visit you must definately let me refer you to a PSYCHIATRIST And PSYCHOLOGIST :p Just kidding who am I to talk! But Gelianna made another fine point again today about addressing some real issues on this site. :sick: LET ME KNOW ASAP what she says...and I read on this site where some one posted about BFS from a medical book that people with BFS can have slow distal latencies as well... :eek: I may have read wrong- Anyhow, I'll be waiting on ya!!!! :sick: God be with you!
 
Hey guys-WELL! I took the ENTIRE day off work to sleep in and go to the DR appointment...AND I wasted all this time getting ready and driving on bad roads...and she called in and didnt come to work! I was so mad because the guy at neuro office said that he called me and left me a VM. BULL! He was like "well I called you weather you think I did or not"...what a jerk! So anyway they re-scheduled me for 9:00AM on Thursday and I am going to take a copy of the MARS records (every call attempted to my cell number..not what customers get)...and Im going to say "lookie here buddy....you didnt have to lie". Its just the fact that he said he called me...and he didnt....why didnt he leave a Voice Mail! UGGGGG....oh well I will post another update on Thursday when I get off of work! Yeeeee Haawwwww! Sean:I am so sorry to hear about the disappointment. It is very frustrating and annoying to have to continue to wait. Hopefully you will see her soon and get your answers. Interested in hearing what she says.Cindy
