Seeking Advice on REMERON & BUSPAR

I had my follow up today with my Dr, she says I definitely need to get my anxiety under control, so she prescribed me REMERON and BUSPAR! have any of you taken either of these medications? Im a constant worry wart so naturally I'm scared to take the medicine for fear of crazy side effects! Please let me know if any of you have any experience with either of these medications! Actually Buspar works with your serotonin/dopamine and isn't a benzo. Just fyi. I tried it and hated it. It made my sleep horrible and I felt awful on it. Just my two cents.Mitra

Have been on and off Remeron for 10 years... Initially makes you lethargic takes aprx 2-6 weeks for any side effects to subside depending on the individual.... 30mg i found better for overall reduction of anxiety well being and less drowsy.....15mg or 7.5mg is good if not able to sleep...down side for many but not all is weight gain ...some peeps a few pounds others could be 28pound in 2 months..... can also have very vivid dreams.....if you can get over the initial side effects hopefully it will help with anxiety plus other symptoms as it has for me....
