Salvia Pooling in Throat

Ever since I've had BFS (decades) there has been periods where it feels as if I have more saliva and have to constantly swallow. However, during this relapse (when lying on the couch watching tv), if feels as if the salvia occasionally "pools" half way down my throat and if I don't consciously think about swallowing it quickly, I'll choke (if this makes sense). Then, I can't even tell if I've swallowed it all as is seems to be right back again. Of course, it frightens me, not the excess saliva and constant swallowing, since that's come and gone for years, it's the feeling that "it's slipping down my throat" when I'm laying down, (on my back), before I have a chance to swallow. Does anyone else have this? I'm kind of back to a "bad place", and would appreciate your help. Thanks, Denise
