Right Foot Injury with Fatigue

I mentioned in an earlier post that I had an incendent where I fell followed up with an observation that the tendon on my right foot is snapping. Since then I have had a chokeing episode and I observed that my ankle on my right foot looks like it is turned in. I still can run, but I feel more fatigued than I did in the past. I am confident I could still pass all of the clinical exam tests, but suddenly it feels like only a matter of time before some real weakness sets in. I actually had a follow up with a nueromuscular specialist only three weeks ago and he did a quick EMG, clinical, and said with 100% certainty that I have only a 'mild' case of BFS and it has absolutely no chance to turn into anything bad. This really does not make any sense to me. I've had 3 clean EMGs now, multiple nuero exams, and yet my body feels like its slowly falling apart and it's hard not to think that somehow something was missed. I try to keep a positive mental outlook, but it just seems like the symptoms are a lot to overcome and ignore.Sorry for venting. Just thought this would get easier as time passed, and it's not. I am sure many of you know how it goes.

Quick update. Went to my PCP and they said that my snapping ankle could be do to muscle weakness, so she ordered another EMG with my Nuero. She's not too concerned, but wants to be cautious. I asked about the previous clean EMGs and she said that it might have been too early to detect anything or maybe they didn't do enough muscles, seems different than what I've read.Getting it on Tue. Wish me luck!

So you've been twitching for 5 months now ? You have seen a neurologist 3 weeks ago who gave you the all clear, that nothing sinister is happening. Now your PCP wants you to have further testing because your ankle cracks, and it may be weakness? This doesn't make sense to me. I would believe the neuro who just gave you the clear. But I guess she just wants to double check the issue, even though it probably has nothing to do with a**.

Good news in that my EMG was clean again, so they ruled out als (99% from this guy I guess). Although the Nuero noticed a hole in my leg muscle that might have been atrophy. He stuck the needle right in the spot and said it was quiet, so he wasn't worried. I asked him if it might be something else going on and he said maybe, but you need to go back to your PCP. I think my PCP might think I'm nuts for now, so that should be fun. Very much hoping I am nuts.

good to hear you have clean EMG still!however to see a doc who says - yep you have something BUT I DO NOT KNOW WHAt is quite disappointing...
