Right Foot Aching: Heels Problem?

Hi wells, I get aching all over. On and off. I get it in my left calf. I get it in both hands. It seems to be episodic. The hands feel arthritic and the calf is muscle pain.I also get other sensory issues. By far for me though, the twitching is what bothers me the most. That is what caused me to go searching on the internet and go through the whole "scare."The aching and other sensory come and go, but the twitching is so consistent...that is what really gets me down.Tanya

Hells Bells yes! Mostly my legs, not the whole thing at once. One day it's the arches of my feet, that will last anywhere from a couple hours to a couple days. Then maybe my calves, then my hands. It's a regular plethora of fun

I get it in both feet randomly, right now it's in my left foot in the exact same place as yours. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with BFS because I was having it several years before the twitches. But who know's with this not so fun syndrome...

I get aching sometimes in the arches of my feet. In the past I also have experienced cramping in those muscles as well. Never when wearing heels, though.

Thank you ALL so much for replying, every single post helps for Reassurance! Oh and hope you boy's aren't wearing heels! LOL Hee Hee :D)

Oh yes. The aching is new for me. I'm also just beginning to experience a curious tingly/numbness on the soles of my feet. That actually is a bit of a relief for me as the neuro who conducted my EMG said that definitely was not a sign of ALS. I'm sure, being only 9 months in to BFS, there will be plenty of other surprises along the way.

BeckyBecky, thanks for posting I hate this stuff!!!! Can't wait to look back and say wow I was freaking out over nothing. But it's something to us now :)

I get a sharp pain in the arch of my left foot. I sure don't want to try wearing heals anytime soon! It's very random. I also get some joint pain, also random.

ALS is a disease of weakness, not of sensation.I have aching too. My right shoulder has hurt with any activity for a few years now. I don't know the names of all the muscles but the pain from my shoulder has traveled down a bit as well to the backs of my arm (again only with activity).I'm left handed and I've also noticed that playing catch with my oldest son, my right hand that has the glove becomes painful after about 10 minutes.I had an EMG on my arms and hands about 6 months ago. They found a problem with conduction in my ulnar nerve consistent with ulnar nerve compression at the elbows and explicitly did not find any of the problems associated with ALS. Not coincidentally for years my wife has told me I must be hard on my elbows because everyone of my shirts rips there after about a year.My neurologist said that I'm at heightened risk of ulnar nerve compression because I'm tall and thin (no padding on my elbows). He said that he had the same problem and to stop leaning on my elbows when I sit at a desk.

Jeez, I could tell you about aching!!! I wont for fear of boring everyone here, but if aching was an olympic sport, I would have won every race going. With that and the fatigue, these are my biggest symptoms...
