Right Eye Twitch and Temple Tingles

hey guys, I've been noticing for the past week and a half, i've had a non stop twitch on my under eyelid of my right eye. Is it normal for it to last that long, in the same place? stress isn't a factor... i just go back from a vacation. also, on the left side of my temple, i get a tingly feeling that comes a goes, and its been a hot spot for like five months. should i be worried about these? i read stuff about sinuses... i always have a stuffy nose in the morning even in the summer. I find it weird and crazy that certain areas always twitch, in the same place, sometimes days at a time, sometimes they'll go away and come back in that spot... so weird... thanks guys!Carmen :)

You are right. BFS is "weird". NO DOUBT.I've had hot spots in both eye lids at different times. (weeks, months at a time) My twitching actuallys started 6 years ago with my left eyelid. What you describe is typical BFS... nomal, "weird" stuff we get to enjoy. No worries.

My upper left eyelid has been twitching non-stop for 31 months and it is not over yet.It is where all began, my original and still most active hotspot :D)

I have had this, too, in both eyes. It drives me crazy, but I think it's a normal BFS presentation. I also get the tingly sensations on my face. Take care, -Nancy

Both the top of my eyelids and the area just underneath my eyes twitch on and off, sometimes with long breaks in between and sometimes several times per day. Its the fact that they come and go, hitting one or more spots for a while and then moving on to others spots that is a key dx for bfs. If it was something like ALS, it would NEVER go away.
