I have not posted or been on here for a while. I returned this evening nd it was probably a mistake but just needed to read over some things for assurance and have actually done the opposite. I read a post by Doug who was diagnosed with Al's after being told it was bfs. This concerns me because I too was told I had slight weakness in my left hand upon my first examination. They did not have any suspicion of motor neuron disease and told me not to worry. It was not ALS. But if someone an have slight weakness..... Could it be a matter of time before the weakness becomes more apparent. I have the most problems with that left arm and hand all the way up to my neck. I'm just worried. I have had a clean EMG on my left hand and arm and 2 clean nerve conduction tests on the hand. But still...... He had a clean EMG as well. I just wonder if someone can take 3 years or so fr ALS to become manifest.
