Reoccurring Foot Pain/Sensitivity

I've posted on this symptom in the past, and have found at least twenty people who have had the same symptom of pain/sensitivity in the soles of the feet. However, the nature of this board seems to be that people cycle in and out [OUT after they get used to BFS, and over their ALS fears, and stop coming to the board], so that newer people may not have seen those older posts. I'd like to see if there are any newer people having these symptoms?
At least one of the prior respondents said that his neuro believes his foot sensitivity to be a BFS symptom.

Yes, I'd like to know more about this pain/sensitivity of the feet. My twitches all started when I had severe foot pain. I have no idea what caused the original foot pain...but it went away after a week or so. Ever since then, my left foot has been "hypersensitive". It's like the sensations in my left foot are being magnified or something. I will periodically get tingling, buzzing, twitching or cramping. My first 3 toes in particular have a tendency to twitch/buzz. And I can pick up vibrations from the ground a lot easier with my left vs. my right.

I recently had an NCV test on my left calf/foot, and whenever the neuro applied the voltage my foot would jerk really hard. I know it's supposed to be normal to get a jerking response, but it felt like the contraction was extra strong.

Some of the symptoms you guys are describing are quite fitting with the symptoms of PN...but PN is usually quite easy for a neuro to detect on a physical exam, so id imagine he may of already ruled that out. All these strange little neuromusuclar symptoms arent specific or work within any paticular pattern of a certain neurological condition and all you can do sadly is sit back and deal with them and in time they may form into a pattern that a neuro can identify and give a diagnosis to your problems. Although ive spoken to ppl that have had strange neuromuscular problems for 30 years and neuro's still dont have a clue whats wrong with them as their neurological symptoms dont fit within any specific neurological condition that can be picked up on any test....strange :/

Peripheral Neuropathy....I don't know much about it, and haven't asked my neuro about it.
However, I wonder whether the periodic hyper sensitivity in my feet is consistent with it [I have weeks without it, before it comes back]? Certainly, my main symptom is the twitching, most consistently in the calves and feet, but occasionally [like right now] all over.
