Relief from Leg Cramps? Heat Massager?

I'm sure I'm going to get some wisecrack from you yahoos but I REALLY need some relief from this pain! I want to cry it hurts so bad sometimes. My calves are cramping so bad that it's driving me insane!

My question is, have any of you "crampers" used hand held heat massagers to relieve some of this. Does it help?

(I'm sure the little horns have popped out of your head by now Basso... YES that's all I would use it for... get your mind out of the gutter!)

My wife got me an air-powered massager called the Relaxor which worked quite well when I was having the most calf discomfort. It comes with various adapters for various body parts (nothing X-rated). You put the adapter around the calf and close it with velcro, then the unit generates a rippling, squeezing massage. It helped me with the discomfort.
