Hi Linda. Welcome to the board. I'm sorry you've had such a time of it with your thyroid but it sounds as though you've endured the worst of it and have now settled into benign twitching. You asked me in another post if I found anything that "worked" on my twitches. (And I started twitching--or noticed it--on the afternoon of October 3, to be exact.) Anyway, I've been on B-6 since December. My neuro directed me onto that because of carpal tunnel problems. I don't know if it's the vitamins or my reduced anxiety, but my twitching is waaaay down from last fall. I still get hotspots and twitches are still most common in my ankles and calf muscles. I get random pops in the arms, back, etc. Most days are tolerable now; in fact, some days I hardly notice them at all. And there are still a few days here and there where it's nearly non-stop, somewhere and everywhere, if you know what I mean. Since last Friday, I've been on 300MG of Wellbutrin XL daily and some have reported "twitching" as a side effect; I was on 150MG since August. I'm not sure from the written data if they mean "our" twitching or that which we might call a tic or involuntary movement of the head or a limb. So far, I haven't seen any changes in the twitching one way or the other.I have "back issues" now and even discovered small "dent"--atrophy--on my right calf during my last neuro visit. When I insisted this was a bad sign, he ordered blood work and, like you, it all came back normal. Likely nerve impingement stemming from spinal stenosis caused the atrophy and many other weird sensations in my right leg. Some of the twitching in that leg may also be due to nerve irritation. I see a neurosurgeon on April 15. We'll see.So welcome aboard though it's always a mixed blessing to wind up here--none of us are here because our bodies are working as we'd like. But I think you'll find this site is very valuable and the people extremely knowledgeable and supportive and the ONLY place I visit on the internet related to my health issues.Mark
