Referral to Neuromuscular Specialists in Germany

my neuro just called today. After my Tegretol allergy he is not too sure what he wants to give me, especially as my biggest problems are the pain and tremors and not the twitching. So he referred me to THE neuromuscular specialist team in Germany,he had been talking to them. Now they are interested. First of all just for your reassurance, they are totally clear that this has nothing to do with MS or ALS. But they want to see it, and also want to have a closer look at it maybe with a biopsy (again NOT to see if it has to do anything witl ALS). I knew they are busy there as people from all over Emilyomousey are sent there, but I was kind of shocked when I heard that my appointment will be in february. Which means that I will have to survive my pains with ibuprofene until then.

That's for small fiber neuropathy ... My advice is don't build up too many hopes regarding the resolution of your symptoms by the big docs, i did that mistake many times just to get nothing out of the doctor's meeting. Even if the biopsy is positive it's just gonna tell them is immune-mediated. You should try go to a pain clinic to treat the symptomns if they don't help you, that's what i want to do ...
