Reducing Radiation Exposure During CT Scan

Really quite impressive. I am about to get a coronary artery CT scan and was researching ways to protect the body from radiation damage. I am lucky enough to live 15 miles from the most advanced CT scanner in the world (first of its kind - google next generation GE CT scanner baptist hospital) ... which reduces your radiation exposure during a CT by nearly 90%. So that's a big step in reducing radiation exposure. Highly recommend you request a next generation CT scanner if you ever get a CT.This supplement was recommended to raise "SAMe" levels, which has been shown to reduce damage from radiation. So I end up on Amazon and first thing I see? Nervous system support. Then I scroll down to the reviews. You should too. Some highlights:"Wow, this stuff helps a lot! I take it on an empty stomach in the mornings and find it hard to even get in a bad mood anymore! I feel much more stable with my emotions and feel happy on a daily basis, even during stressful times. I recommend this to anyone with depression, mood swings or anxiety! Side note- this NOW brand is one of the only ones I could find without Mannitol in it. Mannitol is an alcohol sugar that hurts my stomach. I didn't know that until I bought SAM-e with mannitol""I am someone who has tried St John's Wort and 5-HTP, but personally I find that Sam-E is much more effective in generating a calm-mood for me. I find that when I take it with B-Vitamins especially it works quite well, although I am still trying to sort out which dosage to take, and I haven't gone above 400mg/day as of yet. If you are looking for a natural-anti-depressant, I suggest trying Sam-e in combo with a B-Vitamin complex first. ""I haven't felt this good in years, even when I was on Wellbutrin! My mother was in the hospital for 5 1/2 weeks yet I was able to deal with all the doctors and procedures without losing it"Sounds like something right up our alley, no? I will be getting some. There is no doubt I am still dealing with some pretty severe anxiety from time to time. So it should be a good test. I'll report back here, and anyone else who tries it, please do so as well.-B-

Have you tried that yet or has anybody else tried with success? I'm looking for something for my anxiety but don`t really want chemical antidepressants. This looks like natural one. But would like to hear from anybody on this board. Never sure with reviews found on selling pages :)
