Recurring Neck/Head Tic After Accident

I got rear-ended in my early 20's (39 now). Since then, I've had this little neck/head tic thing... like when my neck would get really stiff my head would jerk sometimes. Not very often and not much, but when it started happening I knew my neck was going to get bad and it was time to go for a massage. The last couple of weeks it seems like this is happening to my other limbs. Just a small jerk... a finger, arm, foot, leg. I don't know that anybody else would even see it, but I FEEL it. Does anyone else get this? Is it a muscle twitch that is moving a limb? Thanks again for being here!Jannetta

I get a slight jerk like that in my shoulder, (just noticed it during this most recent flare of BFS). Of course, I get the finger/thumb jerks and then the "sleep start" jerks. Denise

For as long as I can remember (I'm 35) I've had an occasional sharp jerk in the base of the back of my neck. Sometimes I'll be talking to someone and all of a sudden it will "trip" and I wonder if they just saw the huge tic I just had. Nobody has ever mentioned it (even if I was in the middle of talking) and it's been happening at least since I was 20 or so.It probably happens about once every two weeks; less if I'm not under stress. More if I am stressed.
