Tonight I was watching a movie, and my arches were cramping (they always do that in certain positions, like pointing), so I flexed my left foot and when I released it, my foot went wild with jerking. It was very strange, like a string was attached to my foot and someone was tugging on it. It was a weird slow movement at first, then a fast jerk. I would not call it a tremor or a twitch (like a BFS twitch) but a muscle spasm, painless cramping, or jerking. I wasn't sure if it was just a muscle reaction to the tensing and releasing or a strong calf twitch (resulting in foot movement) that was induced by the flexing. It went on for a while and I think it has resolved. Anyway, it was the most disturbing neuro thing I've had in months. I guess after 9 months of twitching, ALS is remote, and I can't think of anything else it could be except MS? But I don't need another neuro disease to fret over!!!
Any thoughts?
