Re-prioritizing Emotional Energy

I have some rather icky things going on right now in my life and my twitching is a bit, shall we say, elevated. BUT when push comes to shove if our energies need to focus on what is really important in life (typically our family), don't you find that our own fears really go down. We have to "re-prioritize" our emotions....which might not be a bad thing overall. Just a thought...

Worrying about the wellbeing of others is a beautiful thing. Getting one's mind off-of one's self is what it's all about. I can truly find peace of mind therein! The symptoms of BFS, along with the related anxiety can seem like chronic torture. I find that the best distraction from this is to engage myself in an activity that will directly benefit someone else. When I "do for others" I stop thinking about my own problems. The biggest problem with BFS seems to be that we're quite often all-consumed by our own fears. I keep telling myself that as long as I can move all four limbs, I don't have anything worse than BFS. If I can move my limbs today.... then I can surely help someone else!!!!!! John

I hate talking on the phone. But when I do, my symptoms seem to disappear, even though they're still there, for the duration of the phone call.Even if you're not a phone talker, try it sometime.
