Rare Multi-Disorder Combinations

Ok, I was letting my mind wander yesterday and was thinking about this "condition" and other conditions in general and one thing seemed to stick out. The vast majority of people who have some kind of disorder usually only have one. It is a very rare instance that anyone has MS, LUPES and ALS. So...in my rather lopsided thinking...we have this disorder. Yeah, it's annoying as all get out but if we have to get something...hey I'll take this one. It means that I won't be able to wear some of my really great 4 inch heels but I have some amazing 3 inch heels  . I can sit on my back patio with a glass of wine and watch the sunset, and I can see and I can taste. I can walk on the Beach with my husband (yeah I'll twitch a little more afterward) but I can walk. I can feel my legs and my arms...sometimes more than I would like, but I can feel. I can enjoy my husband, my children, my friends and my family. I know that this won't kill me so I will be around to continue to enjoy them. Maybe it's a good day today because it's sunny and warm out. Maybe it's because it's a 3 day weekend. Maybe it's because I am taking my staff at lunch for a class trip to see Pirates ;) ....who knows. I just wanted to let all of you know...Things could be way worse and if this is the one thing we have to have then we don't have to worry about something worse. So to all of you here have a great holiday weekend and for those of you on the other side of the pond...have a great weekend!
All the best,
Love

Hi Kit,
Are you in the U.K? This was such a timely post for me as my newer twitches (I've been twitching for 7 years in Sept) have been really bugging me lately. I liked the optimism in your post and totally agree about life's small pleasures. It's a warm, sunny day in Sussex and I've just had a lovely lunch in my garden with a friend and she commented on a beautiful rambling rose that I have growing on my house wall. This is my favourite rose and has a wonderful scent with an abundance of blooms, probably sounds daft but I was so pleased that someone else appreciated it too :)
Such a simple thing but it made me feel good!

The rambling rose sounds lovely! I am on the East Coast in America but we seem to be sharing the same weather. Enjoy the day and the optimism :D)
