Rapid, Non-Stop Twitching in Hand

Hello againI have a new hotspot it's in the web of my hand between thumb and pointer finger. It won't stop this time the entire day. Never ever had this. My twitches usually stop but these are non stop and I'm feeling exhausted like I can hardly type this without my shoulders burning. Do any of you get this? I looks like a really fast heartbeat that won't stop and this time I can see it but NOT FEEL it at all. I always feel my twitches... :(

I get the burning shoulder thing too. And the web of the hand twitch? Got that too. I don't enjoy it either, but I've gotten used to it and it no longer causes more than a passing feeling of anxiety.Hope it helps to know you are not alone.

About a week ago, I had a twitch near my knee that DID NOT stop for over 24 hours. I had never had one that lasted that long. At first I got scared but quickly realized it was just a twitch and it would stop. Guess what, it did. As fast as it came, suddenly it just stopped. You are just having a hot spot. Nobody knows why the come but they do. Try to calm down and tell yourself it's just another twitch. You are fine.

Wow... great post for me at the right time... I NEVER had a spot twitch for more than a day... and this weekend, BAM! Tricep twitch that has last about 4 days! I haven't felt it yet this morning... shhh... maybe it won't come back! Anyway, it was a thumper and I think from me rubbing it too much to try to get it to stop, it was sore in that area. It decreased it severity, strength, and wasn't as non-stop by the 3rd day, which led me to believe that it's getting better. My anxiety has been through the roof, but I think I am starting to breathe a bit and realize that it's no different than any other twitch. Some just seem to last longer than others... I still hope I don't feel it today though. Maybe it's gone!-Ant

Thank you for the replies. I feel ok now. Did you folks ever get twitches that you didn't feel but could see? Like a really fast pulse? And was it nonstop for at least 7 hours? Literally going on and on? Mine stopped today thankfully!

I have had the twitch that you are describing since September 09 it has not stopped for even a minute. The fat part of my thumb also goes non stop with BIG twitches that move my thumb. From time to time it causes me a great deal of anxiety. But hey I'm still kickin... don't think I have any weakness but am certain that I have atrophy. Have been assured by a nuero that I have BFS. Wish I could make my mind believe that.
