I know this is very random but I was googling (usually not helpful but hard to resist) and I came across a random article about some form of thyroid Hashimotos in children that mentioned that some of the children had tongue twitching. I thought it might be helpful for those thinking tongue twitching always singles the worst. The quote below was copied and pasted directly from the article."Three of 8 children were clinically hyperthyroid with tremors, palpitations, and tongue fasciculations."
