Hi guys,I got a few questions for you all.I really have a lot of internal vibrations, but how would you describe your internal vibrations. Is it at one spot or a whole leg and does it continue for long?My whole leg has internal vibrations, it goes very hard and lasts very long. It's quite scary. And how much do you all exactly twitch? Just now and than or really the whole day trough? By cavles are 24/7, like 10 twitches a sec. And 10 a minute at the rest of my body. Please if you read this answer it. I see a lot of people read the topics but don't respondthx

Fredrick,I twitch an above average amount. Some days I twitch more and some days I twitch less. On a good day I may only twitch 15-20 times and on a bad day that number may double. The twitches can last a second or some can continue for 10-15 seconds. They are also pretty random and widepsread. However, the internal vibrations/shaking is my most common and frustrating symptom. Both legs and arms will feel as if they are internally shaking or vibrating. It feels like it is most of my leg and most of my arm that is internally moving. These are pretty constant but I only feel them when I am completely still. Usually, prior to going to sleep or when I wake up.CDC

CDC,I'm just curious if my amount is still normal: 15 to 20 twitches a day, I wouldn't even notice that. I twitch all the time! In calves 24/7! Is this still normal?

Fredrick,Visible twitching has never been my main symptom. 15 - 20 twitches is an estimate and that number is on a good day. It could be higher because some twitching is only seen and rarely felt. I internally vibrate/shake/buzz constantly. It is almost nonstop but I usually only feel it when I'm at rest or sitting still. CDC

Hi all, if i only twitched 15-20 times a day, i'd consider myself completely cured~~I twitch about 15 times an hour. Some days less. I've actually quit counting lately. I figure that is a step in the right direction.Linda

I had an hotspot on the lateral side of my right calf from the area around my lateral malleolus to the head of fibula and interosious ? Anyway it visibly twitched maybe 100 times per minute 24/7 ..i'm still here and its almost twitch free now :D)

Hi FreddieTheFox,Still figuring out this forum as I'm new here. In regard to your comments on readers rather than responders, for me there are days I just don't want to deal with it, and even though I will read through quickly for news, I don't want to get into the mind-set of the whole thing. Sometimes, focusing on this syndrome is not a good thing and ignoring it is the best remedy. As far as the internal vibration, like the one I have now in my outer thigh, try a self-massage or using the muscles in the area in a gentle way (circular movements or light flex and stretch); sometimes that works for me. I prefer this buzzing feeling to many of the others I get so usually ignore it, although I understand it can be distracting. Another thing that works is meditation; it's well worth the time learning as once you do, it is self-help and it puts some control in your own hands. I find it works just as well as other relaxation techniques mentioned on this forum (acupuncture, massage therapy, chiropractics) and you don't have to go to someone's office and shell out money everytime you and your muscles need to feel calmer. In the beginning it takes a bit of discipline to learn, but after practicing for a while, becomes easier and more adaptable to your life in that you can get into it quicker and use shorter meditation times. Hope you find some of this helpful. Remember - as I've seen expressed often here - that focusing too much on the aspects of this syndrome that are not debilitating (minor cramps, twitches and vibrations) usually encourages them. Like a misbehaving child, they can act up more with excessive attention. So, if nothing else, distract yourself, get involved in something, and don't let it rule your life. Take care.
