hey!i'm scared to death once again. i have a dent since 3 month in my left calf. it is also haf an inch smaller than my right one. last friday i had an mri, who ordered the neuromuscular specialist of my left lower leg, but no atrophy was seen on it. can you verify atrophy with an emg? after this i had an emg of the calf and also the neurologist noticed the difference. but my emg was clean and the neuro told me not to worry about that things. twitching all over never had calmed down. i know i had an clean emg, but perhaps the neuro ist missing something. also my left hand feels very strange. i have these micro fine twitching between thumb and index finger frequently and the last for couple of hours. i'm so tiered of all these weird things going on with my body. it's so hard not to believe something serious is going on. sorry for my panick.

Your neuro did not miss a thing. Real atrophy, weakness, or other issues would not escape his exam. I know it is hard to accept that these strange body sensations are benign, but they really are. It seems that your anxiety is getting the best of you. You might want to look into treating the anxiety. Therapy, meds, whatever it takes. BFS can become an obsession and I am sure you would like to get your life back.
