Hi all,
I spoke with my Neuro on the phone yesterday and got the results of the additional blood tests he ordered. All came back normal except for the ANA test, which he said was a little elevated (he didn't give me an exact number). He said that this test is used to screen for Lupus as well as some other auto-immune diseases which he didn't know the names of. He said that he didn't really know what the findings meant, if anything. He is going to forward the results to my GP to see what she makes of them, but his opinion was that I should have the EMG to see what it shows, and then possibly look into the elevated ANA. Has anyone else here found out they had an elevated ANA level? If so, what did your doctors say this meant? Also, did you have any further testing done and what were the results?
