Question About EMG Results

I have posted already on this site but had a more detailed question. I have done all the tests all neg but my concern is i had the emg too soon. My left leg feels tight all the time almost like I have to think about relaxing it and it looks a bit smaller than the other. No weakness at all I can do any and all workouts at the gym. My husband said nobody's body is totally even but its not him going through this. I also have a spot on my forearm where my muscles feel thicker or tighter and it hurts to the touch. I scare myself everyday with the fears of ***. I feel like sometimes I'm just gonna go crazy. (Not really) but it is scary. Any comments would be grateful. I do have 4 more neuro appts set up.

I had a weird tightness in my left leg for about a month evry time I would walk. It scared the crap outta me, I thought for sure that I had MS, I had normal tests except for some unrelated bloodwork and an EMG. I do not think that you have *** based on what you are saying, have you been to the neuro?? Spouses never seem to understand, and I don't think that anyone else who is "normal" understands either. There have been many times where I have told people about my symptoms and received many a raised eyebrow...and to think that you are "abnormal" is very scary and isolating.

Keep coming here. Some days it has been my only sanity.

Yes i've seen two neuros and had an emg 5 weeks ago but I want them to do another. My husband thinks I'm nuts and the money is dwindling but for my own sanity I would see one every week if I could.

I know how you feel about wanting to be at the docs. every day, it always makes me feel better when I have an upcoming appt. I guess it is b/c I have sooo many questions and fears and I am a true hyperchondriac sometimes. If your EMGs are normal, stop worrying...it is not too soon.

you probably have bfs with cramping. that is what i have. btw many people have assymetry in their body, myself included. i am an exercise fiend, and my left leg has always been "thicker" than my right. if you have had an emg that is normal you are one of us, just most likely with cramping (like me).
my 3rd neuro has done research into this area and it does exist.
