Pregnancy and BFS Anxiety

Hey guys,

I have been doing so great. In fact, over the past three months not even thought about the twitches. Well, I just found out that I'm pregnant, which I'm completely estatic about. However, I feel as though I'm twitching more. I have some fear in the back of my head that this pregnancy is going to make symptoms worse or make the BFS stuff turn into something more serious. Can anyone help me out with this worry? My husband has shut me out about the twitches, it's like he doesn't want to hear it anymore. After three years and eight months of twitching he's had it with my worrying, which I don't blame him, but you guys know what it's like. Can anyone shed any encouraging news on this worry that has just taken over ONCE AGAIN!!

Thanks,
Jenn

Pregnancy can be a reason of increasing twitching (in case of a women who have BFS) - I read about it somewhere but can't remember where.
And pregnency CAN'T be a reason of turning BFS into something serious. Why do you think that way? After almost 4 years of twitching you can be sure that you don't have ALS. And you are a living proof that twitching doesn't mean that something serious is going on.

Keep smiling, think about your baby and don't think about something what you have behind you.

I think Marcin is right - pregnancy can increase twitching, probably at least partly because even though you're excited you will be slightly apprehensive about the pregnancy, caring for baby etc and so anxiety levels will be higher.

Once you start getting morning sickness, whale-like feelings and then a new born baby you won't have time to worry about your twitches :)
