Prayer Request: Neuro Appointment

Wednesday 4th June - 11.30u appointment with neuro (professor in muscular diseases)I'm terrified. I've been there before and been dx with BFS. But as you know my worries went to bulbar als.I already wrote down a lot of questions and all the odd things I'm feeling (like weird cheeck feeling, like I blew up 1000 balloons, tongue ticklings)Please pray for me and if all is okay tomorrow I'm not going to worry about it anymore...but first things first, surviving tomorrow...Are you confident in a good result?Bart
 
Bart,I would just forget about the bulbar...Not a chance.You'll be fine, but then you'll have to work hard on yourself to put at rest your fears.The task is huge because in life, no one can ever say never.The challenge is the one of accepting ourselves and our lives for what they are and gain full control of the things we can control (no many, indeed). In other words, learning to relax and carpe diem.Have a nice day.
 
Good luck tomorrow. I'm sure eveything will be fine. Try not to think the worst. You have already been diagnosed with BFS and as we all know it can do soooo many strange things to our bodies! Let us know how everything goes.
 
Bart,Good luck--but please make a promise to yourself. When, not if, you get a clean diagnosis, take that to heart, stay off the internet (except for this site :) ) and move on with your CBT and living! This should, once and for all, knock out any possibility that what you have is anything other than BFS--and a lot of stress and anxiety. I'll be praying for you brother, but I know you'll be fine.Mark
 
Bart: I am totally confident that you are okay to get the green light tomorrow. I know you will be so glad to put all this behind. Life is way too short for this kind of agony, isn't it. Know that you won't be there alone, we will all be there in spirit and God will go ahead of you.Cindy
