Praise God: ALS Clinic Follow-up

Hi all,

Well I had my follow up at the als clinic and all is well. Praise God. Even though I went in more relaxed and confident it still was a little freaky. I saw some very sick people plus some very scared people. Very heart wrenching. Anyways he was finally stumped. He said he does not know why I am having these symptoms. I asked him more about if he knew of bfs and he said yes. I said do you think I have bfs? He said " Well you have fasciculations and they are benign so- yes" I paid 500 bucks for that revelation. Oh well he is a nice guy. He gave me another neuro exam, (that has to be my 50th) all clear except the neuropathy in my feet is worse. The sensation test was off about 35%. It was kind of funny because after the test he looked at me and said "your neuropathy is worse. Why"? I said "I don't know. What do you think"? (I wanted to say your the freaking specialist). Any how he said he thinks I am multi-chemical sensitive and suggested chelatin and natural deoderants and stuff. He said do you want a follow up? I said no thanks and I told him untill The Lord heals me I will live my live with these few limitations and do my best.

Has anyone tried chelatin or EDTA?

Thanks DD

Well my neuro agrees if nothing else that the sensation in my left foot is off, but this being the NHS at least I have not been recommended to hocus pocus therapies, I would be careful if I were you of what you take notice of,

Chelation is for heavy metal poisoning, and dangerous if you do not have it, you need proper tests before you go in for anything like that and I have never heard of deodorants causing neuropathy.

Thanks PlayfulPants for replying. I should have explained myself better. He believes I am multi-chemical sensitive which can cause neuropathy like episodes. My aluminum was one of my higher metals and he said most deoderants have high levels of it. Even if it doesn't say aluminum, like sure for instance they use other names for aluminum. My blood tests and hair analysis showed high levels.

What is NHS short for?

Thanks DD
