All my fingers twitch and tremble a lot if I hold my hand up. I do get the exact same thing you're describing where the joints hurt and the ligament is tight - EXACTLY. This always seems to come and go. Sometimes, it goes away for days and then comes back (today is a good day where it's not doing it). I don't worry about it too much anymore as I do think it's from the twitching.
