Pesticides & BFS - Info Requested

I heard or read somewhere that BFS can be caused by pesticides or organophosphates. Does anyone know anything about this?My first severe bout of BFS occurred while I was working at a large metropolitan botanical garden (in the office, not directly with the plants). I was in my early 20s and eventually went to a neuro who gave me a few quick tests in her office and pronounced it benign.For the past 6 years I have lived on a golf course. I wonder if there is a connection.

Same here. 200 m from a golf course and 1000 from fields. Neuro asked Env Health Protection to get involved thinking just the same as both my wife and myself started with the same symptoms pretty much at the same time.They are currently looking into the issue. Interesting.

Have you had your metals tested? If not have your doctor check. It could lead to something. I used to work landscaping for the local school district. I had high metals that they atributed to well water and chemical exposure.DD

I and my wife have been tested as yet for heavy metals. Not sure if they will. 'til now they have been collecting information.
