Pain in Lower Back - BFS?

Hi everyone! Having sharp pain at the last point of spine just above anus ie. midlast portion of lower back.It is very localised and prolonged sitting makes it worst.It is more while standing from sitting posture and after pressing the last vertebral ie. coccyx apex.Is it related with bfs?Anyone with this,pl share ur thoughts!

I have this but have always assumed it was from a large benign cyst on S2 and S3. Most of the doctors I've seen say the cysts are asymptomatic, but I know from researching that 30 % of them do produce all kinds of symptoms including pain. Frances

I had an MRI done for this a long time ago. I've had this pain since I had my first child. It's not sharp, but a dull pain that gets way worse with sitting for long periods.

When I'm sitting and clench my buttocks I get a lot of pain around the base of my spine. I may get another MRI to check it out

I've had this. Sometimes coccydinia sp? is from injury but stress related muscle tension immune related inflammation can also aggravate this. I can provide more info as needed on pt and stress reduction options I have utilized.
