I get pain at the outer edges of my hands. It's where you would make a karate chop, but more towards the wrist. Also get crampy feelings there, often when writing. Can feel it when pushing with hands, opening doors, etc... Also, some pain/stiffness at bac of hands near wrists.

Anyone have similar symptoms?

Yeah, so what's new! Standard old BCFS my friend. It comes and goes. It comes and goes! I have the exact situation right this very momment! Sometimes I feel like I was hung by the wrists. You know the meaty portion on the bottom side of the lower arm. Similar? I get the exact thing!

Hi PlayfulPants

Sorry, I posted as a separte post before.

Was wondering if you think your hand pain has to do with carpal tunnel or BFS.

And also, you mentioned you;re getting an EMg of the tongue. I had it done and it surprised me that it didn;t hurt.

That is one of the big questions, sorting out what is what.

Considering the neuro said that in her opinion the twitches I get between my thumb and forefinger have nothing to do with the carpal tunnell sydrome, I don't know. Same with the cramps in my legs, a physio said they were from sciatica, but I don't think so, though the numbness in the toes on my left foot probably is sciatica.

I was hoping that the twitches in my tongue and face might have something to do with trapped nerves in my neck, but again the neuro doesn't think so, but maybe the pins and needles and occasional numbness on one side of my face has.

trapped nerves cause pain, numbness, coldness, pins and needles, but not twitching apparantly.
